IT/datacentre facilities management (e.g. power, cooling, security)

Enterprise backup solutions, preferably CommVault

Patch management/deployment systems

Desirable:

Familiar with endpoint control technology (Desktop Central or similar)

Overall requirements & experience

Proven working experience as a Senior 3rd Line Engineer or equivalent, ideally in the Software and/or technology sector

Understanding of IT best practice and able to add operational value back to the business

Creative and forward thinker that embraces new technologies. Able to develop agile solutions to deliver cost effective IT, appropriate to meet business needs

Excellent customer service skills, able to form relationships and interact effectively with all levels within the business

Experience with cloud technologies and managing IT across remote locations/international operations would be a distinct advantage

Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems and networks
