This is an exciting opportunity to join an award winning, rapidly growing company, with plans to expand internationally. If you love bespoke application support and have a curious mind that thrives on problem solving this role is for you.

We're looking for someone that will lead a small team and troubleshoot rather then pass everything to the dev team, strive to continually improve the service desk process and support for the bespoke design/autocad based application.

You will manage a small existing team of first line application support; training, coaching and up skilling to ensure exceptional service is delivered to users internally and externally. This is a great opportunity to add value, designing and creating processes IT process flows, training guides, you will be an integral part of the customer experience journey on boarding feedback to continually improve the application.

Ideally you will have team leader experience or a wealth of 2nd/3rd line application experience looking to develop your career.

C#, SQL, sequel programming an advantage.

Job Spec:
Manage a small 1st line helpdesk team
Training, coaching, up skilling tech knowledge
Deal with escalated 2nd/3rd line issues
Proactive approach to analysis and fix of reoccurring issues
Create How To user guides, training manuals, videos, diagrams, blogs
Support with recruitment of staff
Work to SLA's and KPI's
Meeting room support

Person Spec:
Second and third line application support experience
Helpdesk experience dealing with a ticketing system ideally Jira or similar
Team leader / management experience an advantage
Proven technical design or process improvement
Good research skills, internet search, google search
Tester experience an advantage
Programming experience in any language an advantage C Sharp, Sequel
3D or game development an advantage: Unity / Unreal Engine / Autodesk 3ds Max / Modelling Software / Game Engine / Maya / Autocad
Exceptional communication skills, over the phone and face to face
Calm, methodical, logical approach
A desire to grow and develop with the business as part of their international expansion
