As Head of Digital Services you will lead the digitisation of services for a nationally renowned and respected institution, managing the CRM and website teams and accelerating their transition and digital offering.
You will be responsible for the digital strategy, the services and platforms supporting its delivery. The role will be responsible for the successful transition of outputs from the current digital transformation programme and the delivery of business as usual digital services.
This is a one year maternity cover role, that will require you to complete the restructure of the team, including recruitment of more permanent staff and coaching the team to deliver a transformed customer experience.
They are looking for a digital evangelist able to evidence a track record of heightening the customer experience through digital transformation. They would expect you to bring a strong technical base of experience and knowledge that highlights your enthusiasm for all things digital.
*The design, implementation and operation of digital products
*Responsible for the digital services team and building an effective model for delivering digital services
*Implementing effective digital demand and delivery model
*You will be required to inspire colleagues and partners with the opportunities available from the digital landscape and secure delivery of a digital road-map forward for their digital services.
*You will drive new and improved user interfaces and bring a focus on the benefits social media can bring to their services.
*You will speed up the adoption of digital in the workplace, connecting teams and services and improving how they work.
*You will champion Agile and Lean approaches, securing successful delivery of the digital transformation, achieving all of this with a digital division that is determined to become one of the highest performing services in the sector.
*Experience delivering public facing digital services in a large, complex organisation with expert technical /professional knowledge and experience
*Creative and always looking for innovation, a real digital evangelist
*Track record of shaping and evolving ambitious digital strategies
*Excellent research, analysis, interpretation and evaluation skills, demonstrating the ability to identify and diagnose complex problems/issues/requirements and develop innovative strategic solutions
*Authority and credibility to build relationships, influence and engage successfully with, senior managers, colleagues and partners
*Initiative, strategic and awareness in problem solving and decision making
*Significant experience of writing reports, specifications and agreements Substantial experience of managing significant budgets and resources.
*Able to demonstrate a track record of achieving significant success especially leading an Agile delivery team
*Line management experience
*An excellent communicator and leader who is also a team player
*A good problem solver who also has negotiation and an ability to persuade
*A practical, pragmatic and flexible personality
*Resilient, self-motivated and determined.
*Commercial, Financial, Public Services experience would be ideal but not essential
