An experienced Social Media Marketing Manager is urgently required by a leading global lifestyle brand to work in their Manchester offices.

You will be required to execute the UK Social Media Strategy to engage and grow their social media communities across all social channels (primarily Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram). Translate the brand into clear, distinct social voice, in order to develop brand awareness, generate in bound traffic and drive sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES
*Develop appropriate content, engagement and conversion strategy to grow and engage virtual communities.
*Drive Social Media commercial success across the channels, hitting targets from traffic driven through social channels.
*Work with local Social Media leads to ensure Group projects (apps, tools etc) are landed effectively, and that local activity is aligned with overall strategy.
*Manage Social agency(s), to monitor, listen and respond to users and customers appropriately, and implement Group Social Media Marketing strategy.
*Working with Blog to ensure content meets social needs.
*Recommend, implement and manage relevant social media marketing tools (i.e. Social Listening tools etc).
*Work alongside SEO and PR teams to manage Blogger Outreach projects.
*Work closely with the Social Media Customer Service team to ensure campaigns and content is timely and appropriate.
*Ensures Social Media is front of mind for the business, sharing latest results, developments and trends across Social Media Marketing.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
*Circa 4 yrs+ Social Media experience (agency or client side), acquired from working on large (preferably international) B2C brands.
*Expert understanding and use of current Social Media Platforms and tools.
*Demonstrable creativity and examples of application in Social Media.
*Excellent copywriting and language skills.
*Experience of working on international websites, with remote teams.
*Photoshop, Premier or similar and WordPress.
*Understanding of web analytics packages (ideally Google Analytics).
*Working knowledge of SEO principles including keyword research.
*A professional marketing qualification (IDM, CIM) or similar would be ideal
